You can use a device in one home at a time. So, the device needs to be deleted from one home and be added in the new home for changing homes.

Please follow these steps to change the device from one home to another:
1. Make sure that you entered the right home, then Go to Settings > Devices > (Select Device) > Delete Device
2. Go to Settings > Homes > (Select new home for the device) > Enter Home
3. Go to Settings > Devices > + > Add the deleted device here.
