Despite our efforts to build device swhich can self-diagnosethemselves,sometimes there can be few situations where you may have to intervene.Few situations you might find yourself in: 1.My device is not connecting to Wi-Fi after configuration:While configuring the device with your home Wi-Fi network, makesure to give the correc tWi-Fi name and password.BothWi-FiNameandpasswordarecasesensitive.Ifitfailedevenafterthat,youcantrytoresetthedevice.Forresettingthedevice,pressandholdtheresetbuttononthedeviceforatleast10Seconds.Then do the configuration again. My device was connected to the Wi-Fi once but after sometime it's disconnect in gand not able to reconnect automatically: Sometimes this can happen due to channel interference or poor Wi-Fisignal to device or due to some RF Shielding materials in your building's construction. In that case, you can restart the device by taking out the device and plugging it back(in case of portable devices like SMARTPlug or IR BLASTER)in to the power outlet or press the restart button once(Right button on sensor strip in SMARTSwitch). If it is not working even after restarting, try doing the factory set by pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds, then add the device again in your mobileapp. This should work. I am not seeing any LED blinking in the sensorstrip: Due to high electrical noise in the system sometimes a SMART device can get stuck for sometime, try restarting the device to bring it back on line. Device is connected to Wi-Fi but I am still seeing a loader in my application and it throws alert that it is unable to communicate to the device:
\n.Close the app and open again, it should work. If it's still not working, make sure you have the latest app from Playstore/App-store. I have configured a remote but it's not controlling my appliances:
\nRange of our IR Blaster devices (SMART Sensor Strip/IRBLASTER/SMART Travel Adapter etc.) is limited to the field of sight (up to 15-20 m approx.) and they do not work across walls and other non-transparent obstacles. Hence, make sure that you are trying to control IR Appliances present in the same room/hallonly,where any of the IR Blaster is kept. Also make sure to pair the right IR Blaster with the remote you want to use, in the remote settings page.
