Yes, there are three scenarios when an inverter provision is available at a home and if that provision needs to be continued even after installing SMART HOME Devices.
\n\nScenario-1: All appliances in a room are given inverter back up, i.e., every appliance, in the room like lights, fan and plug points are given inverter back up.
\nConnection: Simply connect the phase wire of inverter instead of phase of Mains to the Phase point of SMART device (marked with P on device).\n
\n\nScenario-2: Partial appliances in a room are given inverter back up, for e.g., one light and a fan in the room have provision for inverter and not all appliances in the room. This is the most typical scenario in Indian Households.
\n\nConnection: All the loads connected to the device will be operated with generator. Select all the loads you want to control with the inverter and insert only those load wires into SMART device. And insert inverter phase into the Phase point of the SMART device.\nIf you cannot operate all the loads with generator, in that case we recommend you keep the inverter loads separate and connect only the loads without inverter into SMART device. In that case, insert phase of Mains line into the Phase point of SMART device.\nYou can also buy a separate SMART product(1 Switch/2 Switch) for controlling loads only with inverter and connect that device to inverter operated loads
\n\nScenario 3: AC's are not typically given inverter backup.\n
\nCaution:
You should never connect any two phases to one SMART Device in any instance whatsoever.
